Support Samantha in Giving Her Father a Dignified Farewell

My name is Samantha and I am raising funds to cover the funeral costs for my father, who just recently passed on 3/21/2025. Shortly after thanksgiving my father suffered a massive stroke, beginning what would be 4 long months in and out of the hospital. In those 4 months my father had multiple heart attacks, several surgeries, and another stroke.. even through all that my father showed signs of improvement, the doctors, his cardiologist, and physical therapist felt confident that he would live another 20 years. On 3/11 my father was sent back to the hospital from the physical rehab with covid, the next day he was transferred to the ICU.. once again, my father started to show major signs of improvement, so much so, his doctors put in for him to be transferred off the ICU floor on 3/18, the next morning, the hospital told my mother & I he took a drastic turn for the worst overnight, and his kidneys were shutting down, and his heart was too weak to put him on dialysis. It was then, as my father's healthcare proxy, that I had to make the difficult decision to put my father on hospice, respecting his final wishes and DNR. My family and I had been struggling financially before my father became sick, and my father did not have life insurance. I am raising funds so that I can make sure I give my father the proper burial he deserves and wanted. My father meant the world to me and I am lost without him on this earth.
