Hi! Samantha Mei Paull and Mia Dawson here. We're two young female filmmakers writing, producing, and soon to be directing and starring in our new short film, The Pledge.

The film is about sorority pledging gone wrong. Part thriller, part comedy, all fun.

We wanted to make a film that channeled the nostalgia of classic college films, while also hitting on important issues to our generation and with a heart-pounding twist.

To bring this self-funded short film to life, we're asking for help from family and friends. We'll be doing this on a shoestring, but there are still costs to cover. If you're able to help us and our incredibly talented young cast and crew, we'd be very grateful and will include you in the film credits.

Part of the funding will go to film festival submissions, so who knows how far this could go. We have a good track record and will give this everything we have.
