Phase 1 was the Miracle. Phase 2 is the Foundation. Urgent construction time frame for completion is August 1st, 2026

The threat of losing our sanctuary is still upon us and we urgently need your help to evacuate what we thought would be our forever home. Because of your heroic generosity and the selfless help of Louie the Raccoon, we were able to raise over $100,000, but we still need to raise significantly more before our animals, and the future of our wildlife sanctuary are truly safe.

With the money raised, Samadhi Wildlife has officially secured a 10-acre property, however, the threat of losing our sanctuary is still upon us as. We are currently unable to leave our present location which is under foreclosure due to the property owner failing to pay his mortgage, despite Samadhi Wildlife paying every month’s rent on time.

Even though Samadhi Wildlife has secured a new parcel of land, we are not yet able to utilize that property. The new land is heavily wooded, raw, and undeveloped with no electricity or running water. Our patients and residents—the orphans, the injured, and those who have nowhere else to go are still at our original location as we frantically try to create a functional facility for them to be moved to. The anguish of this mission is knowing that every day we aren’t "home" is a day we remain vulnerable. We are currently operating out of a space we must leave, trying desperately to build a space we can’t yet use.

We are launching Phase 2 of our fundraiser with a goal of $150,000 to begin building our sanctuary. This isn't just a move; it's a race against time. We cannot move a single life into the woods and hope for the best. To bring them home safely and continue being a last line of defense for Florida’s wildlife, we must build a sanctuary from the ground up. This includes:

Land Clearing & Site Prep: Transforming raw land into a functional sanctuary through professional excavation for the essential first steps of construction. This includes land surveying, permit fees, vegetation clearing, and grading to ensure the sanctuary grounds are safe and ready for building. We are only clearing what is absolutely necessary.

Species-Specific Habitats: This will provide our rehabilitation patients with species appropriate enrichment, reduce stress, and allow every animal to have a peaceful place to heal before release. Every permanent resident will have a home built for their specific needs.

Essential Utilities: Establishing a lifeline for the sanctuary by bringing water and electric to our remote, raw acreage. Because our property is nestled deep in the woods, we must build our own infrastructure from the ground up. This is one of our biggest financial hurdles.

Perimeter Fencing: Building a permanent, secure boundary across our wooded acreage to satisfy deed requirements and provide safety to our wildlife. Fencing in deep woods is significantly more expensive because we must manually clear a path for all fence lines.

At Samadhi Wildlife, we receive zero government funding. We are 100% donation based.

We rely on the help from our community to be able to create a place of healing for the animals that need it most. The stress of this transition is immense, but we hope with your help, we can end this period of uncertainty. We have the land in our hands. Now, we just desperately need to build the facility.

Please join us for Phase 2. Help us build their forever home. If you are unable to donate, please share this fundraiser with fellow animal lovers and anybody who can help.
