My cousin Sam W Wake II was recently diagnosed with lung and bone cancer. Sam, his wife Sharon and their 2 sons Ricky and William live in Columbia Station Ohio which is where my dad grew up. They also have 2 grandsons and a granddaughter. Sam also has very bad arthritis and is frequently using a wheelchair since is mobility is limited. He has been on Social Security Disability for quite some time. His wife Sharon owns a small house cleaning business to supplement their income. 2 of my best friends Owen Jackman and Kenny Geottman got to know Sam and Sharon very well when they visited Ohio with me in 2014 and by themselves in 2019. I am sure they would agree that Sam and Sharon are 2 of the most generous kind people you would ever want to meet. Suffice it to say that I am very close to them and it is very painful to see what is happening with my cousin. Please consider making a donation to help out. There is also a fundraising event taking place in Elyria Ohio on December 8th. It is being held at a local sports bar and grill. People can purchase a chicken or pulled pork dinner for $20 or 2 tickets for $35.
