Many of you may have already heard, but we wanted to share a brief update.

Just after midnight New Years Day, a firework malfunctioned and exploded, causing serious injuries to Sam Redka’s face and eye. He was rushed to Harborview, where he underwent multiple surgeries totaling over 10 hours. We are incredibly grateful to share that Sam is now home and safe. We truly believe God was with him, and we are deeply thankful for all the prayers and support.

Sam is now facing a long recovery with many upcoming appointments, follow-up care, and more surgeries. He works a physically demanding construction job and will be unable to work during this time. With a pregnant wife and two young children, this unexpected situation brings both emotional and financial challenges, including ongoing bills and medical expenses.
