Well it just went from bad to worse, Drunk driver didn't pay her insurance and lawyer is withdrawing from case.Sometimes life throws you a curve ball. My name is Sam Garcia, and thanks to Jesus and my guardian angels; I'm here to ask for some help. A little background, I have been raising my Granddaughter for 8 years, unfortantly she was born with a rare blood disorder
called PKU, I believe God had a plan and I’m trying my best to care for her. Her medication and doctor visit are more than 30k a month, so to make this happen I had do something that I never had done, ask for government help, I was able to get her Medicaid,
but the system says I can only make $1300 a month, so I do what it takes. On Nov 1, I went out to UBER as I do everyday, but this day a drunk driver hit me and totaled my truck. I was taken to the hospital and test ran, Thank you Jesus, no internal damage
just alot of pain, bruise and cuts. But I have no health insurance. So here is something I found out, I talked with a lawyer, if your driving UBER your car insurance doesn't cover anything, unless you request rideshare coverage...I didn't know that. He also
informed that the other drivers insurance is the bare minimum and will be a long process that may not do more than pay off my truck loan. So no rental means I have no transportation. How will I make a living, how will I get granddaughter to her many doctor
appointments... to add to my stress, for 12 years I have volunteered selling Christmas trees to support the youth of South Austin Optimist, 2 years ago I moved to San Antonio, so during this time (Nov15-Dec20) I drive to Austin everyday to Garrison Park 6001
Manchaca Rd 78745... I have ordered 800 trees this year, plus have to build the tree lot starting Nov 15. 100% of all money goes to support youth sports, i don't get paid.
On this time on earth, I have always tried my best to help anyone, with anything that I could, I have helped many people throughout my life.
I have never asked for help and to be honest it’s very embarrassing to me to ask for help to get thru this difficult time. My prayer partners have asked Jesus to guide me. Anything you can do will help me!!
May God bless you!! for your support. Please share.
