Hi everyone,

My name is Sam Skinner, and I’m honored to once again represent Team Canada at the IFMA Muay Thai World Championships! This year, the tournament is taking place in Türkiye, and I need your support to get there.

For the past nine years, I’ve dedicated myself to Muay Thai. Last year, I competed at the World Championships in Greece, and while I didn’t take home the win, I gained invaluable experience. I came back stronger and more determined than ever.

Since then, I’ve:

Won the 2024 Canadian Muay Thai Open (August 2024)

Earned the Muaythai Canada National Title at the historic PanAmerican competition (September 2024)

Started 2025 with back-to-back wins, including my first Pro/Am International Championship Belt in Montreal (January/February 2025)

I’m now on a five-fight winning streak heading into fight camp for the World Championships!

Representing Canada on the world stage is an absolute dream, but it comes with significant costs. Unlike many other sports, Muay Thai athletes must fully fund their own travel, accommodations, and training expenses. That’s where you come in!
