Sam Prevatte lost his father, Scott Prevatte, due to an infection while waiting on an organ transplant. This leaves Sam and his mother, Casey Bradshaw, in a very tough spot.

Casey is an incredibly hardworking teacher's aide for the Matanuska-Susitna Borough School District and has been for years. She is now a single mom without financial support from Sam’s dad. Unfortunately, Sam’s dad didn’t have a will, and there is nothing that will help them financially in the future.
