Support Salvador's Family in Crisis

Hi friends and neighbors,

My name is Hayley, and I’m writing this as a member of our local community who has had the honor of knowing a kind, hard-working family that’s now facing an unimaginable crisis. I’m reaching out on behalf of a devoted husband and father who was suddenly detained by ICE last week.

Salvador is a 55-year-old father of four, and has been married to his wife for 35 years. Together, they’ve built a quiet, humble life centered around family and faith. They’ve endured hardships no family should ever face — including the devastating loss of one of their children — and now they’re navigating a new one: the unimaginable separation from their father.

His youngest child is just 14 years old, and the emotional and financial toll of this situation is overwhelming for his wife and kids. With their primary provider now gone, they are struggling to meet basic needs like rent, utilities, and groceries.

I’ve created this fundraiser to help ease that burden and give them space to breathe and focus on the process of reuniting and healing during this incredibly difficult time. Every dollar raised will go directly to: Rent and housing stability, utilities (electricity, water, gas), groceries and daily essentials, and any emergency needs that arise during this period.

This man is more than a headline — he is a father, a husband, a neighbor, and a friend. He has contributed so much to our community, quietly and consistently, and now his family needs us to show up for them in return.

Mi nombre es Hayley, y escribo esto como miembro de nuestra comunidad local, con el corazón en la mano, después de haber tenido el honor de conocer a una familia amable y trabajadora que ahora enfrenta una crisis inimaginable. Estoy organizando esta campaña en nombre de un esposo y padre devoto que fue detenido repentinamente por ICE la semana pasada.

Salvador tiene 55 años, es padre de cuatro hijos y ha estado casado con su esposa durante 35 años. Juntos han construido una vida tranquila y humilde, basada en la familia y la fe. Han superado dificultades que ninguna familia debería experimentar — incluida la devastadora pérdida de uno de sus hijos — y ahora enfrentan otra: la separación inimaginable de su padre.

Su hijo menor tiene solo 14 años, y el impacto emocional y financiero de esta situación ha sido abrumador para su esposa e hijos. Con la ausencia del principal proveedor del hogar, están teniendo dificultades para cubrir necesidades básicas como el alquiler, los servicios y la comida.

He creado esta recaudación de fondos para aliviar parte de esa carga y permitirles un respiro, mientras se enfocan en el proceso de reunificación y sanación durante este tiempo tan difícil. Cada dólar recaudado se destinará directamente a: alquiler y estabilidad en la vivienda, servicios básicos (electricidad, agua, gas), alimentos y artículos de primera necesidad, y cualquier necesidad de emergencia que surja en este periodo.

Este hombre es mucho más que un titular — es padre, esposo, vecino y amigo. Ha contribuido mucho a nuestra comunidad, de manera silenciosa pero constante, y ahora su familia nos necesita más que nunca.
