Salvador Lemis is my big brother, and he’s always been the heart of our family. As a talented playwright and theater director in Mexico City, Salvador has inspired countless people with his creativity and dedication. He has a rich curriculum as a playwright, with several published works, and he always stood out in his field. Growing up, he was the one who stepped up for us when our father wasn’t around, supporting our mother and making sure we always felt cared for. His generosity and strength have shaped our lives in so many ways.

Now, Salvador is facing stage 4 prostate cancer that has spread to his bones and lungs. The diagnosis has changed everything. He can no longer work in the theater he loves, and his health requires constant supervision. In Mexico City, cancer treatments are expensive and hospice care isn’t available, which means our family is responsible for all aspects of his care. Salvador needs 24-hour support, and the costs for medications, especially morphine, private nursing, rent, food, and basic necessities like diapers are overwhelming.

We’re asking for help to cover these urgent medical and living expenses so Salvador can remain comfortable and cared for during this difficult time.
