Support Sally's Recovery and Her Kids
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Lisa Salas and I am a registered nurse. I have known Sally for a few years. She is a single mom of four and a really good person with a huge heart. We met by chance because our kids attended the same school, and I immediately admired her spirit and loved how she engaged the kids. Sally has faced many challenges and hardships in her life, and despite that, she still laughs and smiles every day. She has been homeless for several months and dealing with thyroid cancer, but through the grace of God, she has found temporary shelter for her family and recently found a job caring for elderly people that she truly loved. She would often call and share funny stories of what her shift was like. She always finds quality time to spend with her kids, whether it’s outside playing or inside watching movies and playing board games.
Unfortunately, Sally was struck by a vehicle Friday evening while crossing the street. She is now faced with significant health hurdles, medical expenses, as well as everyday living expenses, and now will be unable to work for a while. She is strong and resilient but now really truly needs a little help for herself as well as her children. Any amount given would help and mean so much to Sally and her children to ease some of the financial burden.
