Hello, I started this campaign on behalf of my friend Chris and his family. Below explains their story in his own words.

On June 10, 2026, our lives changed when my wife, Sally, was diagnosed with breast cancer. After numerous doctor appointments, tests, scans, and multiple biopsies, she will undergo a double mastectomy on July 29 as part of her treatment journey.

If you know Sally, you know she is a dedicated and hardworking neonatal ICU nurse who has spent her career helping others through some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Now, she is facing one of the toughest challenges of her own.

Sally is also an amazing wife and the proud mother of two wonderful children, Liam and Mila. Our family is focused on supporting her through surgery, recovery, and the treatments that lie ahead.

Like many families, we chose a high-deductible health insurance plan because we have generally been healthy. Unfortunately, the cost of cancer care adds up quickly. Between specialist visits, imaging, biopsies, surgery, and ongoing treatment, our medical expenses continue to grow. Our Health Savings Account has already been depleted, and we are now facing significant out-of-pocket costs.

We are asking for help to ease the financial burden so that Sally can focus on what matters most—healing and spending time with her family. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help with medical expenses, recovery-related costs, and the challenges that come with an unexpected health crisis.
