My name is George White, and I've spent the last 15 years with my partner, Sally Russo. Even before we really started dating, her father informed me of her complex medical issues due to Post Lyme Syndrome. During the last 15 years, I have watched my other half go through so much grueling agony because of her condition. Sally can have what looks like an epileptic seizure, only it's severe muscular spasms, the longest one lasting 12 hours. In addition, she has also had several episodes of cardiac arrest due to these episodes. In 2017, we were blessed to find a neurologist who successfully treated Sally with IVIG. However, our excitement was short-lived, as just 9 months later, she got cancer. She has successfully battled cancer three times now. She has since also developed myocarditis and suffered three heart attacks within the last two years. Last April, Sally's body rejected the IVIG. After over a hundred of doses with zero problems, we are now back at square one. After multiple doctor visits and specialists, we have always come up empty-handed. A few months ago, Sally decided she simply wanted quality of life. After trying palliative for a bit, my love has now chosen Hospice. I have watched her suffer immense pain with no answers. I hear her crying from pain. I have always said I support her in her decisions, as I do now. Watching someone you love suddenly become a shell of their old self is horrific. With this emotional and difficult decision, I have been home taking care of her and want to continue to be able to do so. Being self-employed, I don't have family medical leave. In addition, our families don't live close by. Sally just wants to be home, in our house with the dogs, friends and family and
enjoying her time and quality of life. I want nothing else than to provide this for her. I have always been the sole provider, but without working, the excess is dwindling very quickly. If you don't have the money to donate, that's understandable. Please just pass her story along or say a prayer for her. She has been fighting this battle for 23 years now. She earned her time to just rest and be at peace snd I am determined to try an provide that for her. I sincerely thank each of you who have read this.
