I find myself in a very urgent financial situation. At almost 80 years old, I am still working hard to maintain my happiness and well-being. Following a year of recovery from surgery, I have taken on a part-time job conducting art activities for first-grade students in Berkeley, California. However, I was informed yesterday that a teacher's strike is set to begin on December 4th. Since I am part-time, I will not receive any pay during the strike. Additionally, the upcoming holiday break from December 20th to January 4th will also leave me without income.
