Brother Saalih Musaji (Stephen Murphy) An American revert who accepted Islam in the early 1980's was diagnosed with Multi-organ failure due to COVID-19. On October 25th His landlord called the Ambulance after being contacted by Salih’s wife from Panama saying her husband is not picking up her calls and was then immediately admitted at the Chicago Swedish Covenant Hospital. On the Mubarak day of Friday (November,20th)
Between Asar & Magrib he breathed his Last.
In this platform I would like to also highlight my relationship with Salih (Stephen Murphy) & Family.
My name is Kevin Lee (Dob 05/18/1988) Most of the people in the Muslim Community know me as Abdullah Korean Lee. Back In 2010 After I accepted Islam, brother Salih had assisted me heavily for the first year after my conversion. Since then, we would meet for prayers, and go on tableegh together. On my trip to Panama I had spent time with him where he assisted me cutting my stay there as well. Unfortunately on Oct 25th 2020 i received a Call from his family that he got extremely sick & she has been telling him to take the Covid test & has been now taken by the Ambulance to Swedish Covenant Hospital. The family plead that I should take full responsibility to fullfill his dream which was that the Holy Quran Be read around him the whole time specially while he is breathing his last.
Just from my 10 years of being friends with him i come to a conclusion that He was the best person i ever met in my life. His own people Community & the Ummah at large always mattered to him. From amongst the many unique features in his life one outstanding feature was that In all walks of life He would always live & remain steadfast with the Full Sunnah of our beloved Prophet (Sal-Lalaahu-Alayhi WaSalam) EVEN when he is taking his passengers in his Cab.
Indeed! its a big loss in the Ummah at large. Undoubtedly there are very few brothers that are like him left in the Ummah! He was always helpful in every way: with his time, his charity, his smile, his guidance, and his initiative. May Allah Ta'ala raise his ranks In Paradise & grant his close ones Beutiful patience.

I Kevin Lee will be making sure that 100% of all donations collected will be sent via bank transfer to Elena, Safiya and Sakina Murphy Pinto ( his wife and daughters) for their living expenses (rent, education for his daughters, food). Brother Salih was the souls provider for his family as currently they do not have any means of earning. Brother Saalih is very well known in the Muslim community. He has spent Several 4 months in Khurooj in the path of Allah.
When he accepted Islam at the age of 21, He spent a whole year inside one Masjid. In May of 1996 while he was on the Path of Allah, the Ameer of South America, Ahmed Bheeko Bhay arranged for him to wed his now wife.
While he was deeply loved within the community, he was adored by his two daughters Sakinah, Safiyah and wife Elena whom he leaves behind and to Whom he was devoted to and dearly loved.
We kindly ask for your donations to support his family as they have no means of any other income.
