Help Sale Heal and Rebuild After His Spinal Injury

Aloha everyone, my name is Donna, and I’m fundraising on behalf of my beloved family member, Sale Sale.

A couple of weeks ago, Sale suffered a serious accident while riding the city bus. He fell and sustained injuries to his cervical vertebrae and spinal cord. Since then, he’s been in the hospital receiving intensive treatment and care. The doctors have now recommended that he be transferred to a specialty rehabilitation facility, where he will continue his recovery for at least the next two months.

This has been an incredibly challenging time — both physically and emotionally — for Sale and our entire family. While he’s focusing on healing and regaining his strength, the financial strain is growing. He’s facing mounting medical bills, ongoing expenses for rehabilitation, and the need to keep up with rent and essential bills while he is unable to work. Depending on how well his recovery goes, he may be out of work for quite some time.

Sale has always been someone who gives selflessly — a kind, hardworking, and humble man who shows up for others without hesitation. Now, we’re hoping our community can show up for him.
