Support Salem's Journey to a Safer Home

Hello, my name is Salem and I am 20 years old living with my grandparents.

I live with an angry, threatening, and abusive man. I have dealt with his abuse since I was born, and I have diagnosed Chronic PTSD, BPD, among other things. On top of being mentally disabled because of him and many factors of my life, I am also physically disabled living with Systemic Lupus, Inappropriate Sinus Tachycardia, Pelvic Dysfunction, Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, and now possible pre-diabetes.

I have dealt with verbal, mental, and emotional abuse from this man. This is how he gets away with it, yet he can make threats and is a danger to others including himself. This can be just as damaging as physical abuse, and easier to get away with like I said. He likes to undermine my sense of self-worth and sanity, such as using gaslighting or manipulation. He also does this to my mother; she is an emotional dumping ground for him. He wails, he yells, and cries to her for pity. His words, actions, screams, and yells have left major imprints on my brain. It is an indescribable living ultra hell I have to deal with every single god damn day of my life.

Recently he had lost his mind, taking my bed away from me and throwing out a lot of my stuff. I am left traumatized, and he is threatening my privacy and my worth. He hates that I am in the gothic subculture, and he believes it's "demonic." He will not allow me to be myself, which is a majority of why I have not been posting besides the fact I got surgery and whatnot.

I am fundraising to escape this abusive environment and seek a safer, healthier life with my partner. We currently need more funds to fund for housing while he completes his work for his CDL.

This fundraiser is for me, Salem, to help cover the costs of moving out and securing a safe place to live.
