My name is Saleh Nabil Zaqout, a father from Gaza.
Before October 7, I lived a simple and happy life. I had a home, a job, and hope for the future. But everything changed overnight.
I was forced to flee on the very first day of the war, carrying my two-month-old baby girl in my arms. Since then, we have been displaced again and again, with nowhere safe to go.
I have lost my home, my livelihood, and everything I worked for. Today, I live in a fragile tent beside the ruins of my destroyed house—
a tent that cannot protect us from the burning summer heat or the freezing winter cold.
Every day is a struggle to survive. Every night is filled with fear for my child.
I am asking you, from the bottom of my heart:
Please don’t ignore our suffering.
Even the smallest donation can make a difference.
Your kindness can help us rebuild our lives and give my daughter a chance to live with dignity.
Please stand with us. Please help us survive.
