Hey guys, the Pallands here. We hope everything is going well. If you didn't hear, Salathiel needed emergency gallbladder surgery and had to have her gallbladder removed. Thankfully everything went well and everyone is okay. Unfortunately, we got the bill. After I cleaned my glasses and looked at the bill again, it's the actual bill: $17,000. Things have been challenging for us. I have been out of work since July 2021. I plan to go back to work, but it's taking a lot longer than I ever thought.

 

Salathiel is also trying to study for her insurance licensing exam while dealing with impaired vision (diabetic retinopathy is no joke). Tamsin needs braces, and the crops burned down. Heh, that last part is a joke, but we are in the weeds. Salathiel also had a traumatic experience  the hospital during her first ER visit. We're just putting this up because we need to ask for help. The emergency fund we started as a family is depleted and will soon be gone once we get the bill from the hospital, pay for Tamsin's braces, and the other follow-up medical care Salathiel needs.
