Support Salah's Family's Journey to Safety

Donation protected
My name is Constance Clarke, I live in Fairview North Carolina but am raising money for Salah Ashraf Al-Maqousi from Gaza, Palestine. Salah is a wonderful young man with a big heart, remarkable resilience and dedication. We need to raise funds to facilitate the evacuation of Salah's family to Egypt once sufficient funds are raised.

The Salah family consists of:
  • Salah Ashraf Salah Al-Maqousi (27)
  • Father: Ashraf Salah Abdel Aziz Al-Maqousi (52)
  • Mother: Tahani Abdel Halim Ibrahim Abu Ghalioun (42)
  • Sister: Raghad Ashraf Salah Al-Qassosi (14)
  • Brother: Munir Ashraf Salah Al-Maqousi (10)

Every dollar raised will directly support the Salah family, providing essential food, safety, and most importantly, hope. The cost of each family member leaving Gaza and entering Egypt ranges between $5,000 and $7,000. Our goal Raised $35,000 to cover evacuation expenses.

This is Salah's message:
My name is Salah Ashraf Al-Maqousi from besieged Gaza City. It is a place where everyone conspires, and has long been considered a major prison for its residents. I was responsible for 6 members of my family and I was the only source of support for this family because my siblings are young. I feel compelled to ask for your support and stand by our side. My family desperately needs you. We are looking for security and safety. We are living in a war of famine, disease, killing, injustice, monopoly, and lack of the necessities of life. We have no choice but to try to evacuate to ensure our family's survival. This includes transportation, accommodation and other basic expenses needed to leave Rafah for Egypt. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings me closer to safety. Before the war, I worked in an institution. It is also a cafeteria at the same time on the beautiful sea of the Gaza Strip. This institution specializes in people with disabilities, so that one of them can reach the seashore with ease. The days were beautiful and we worked with passion and love. Until the day came that changed the features of this city, its times, its locations, and everything in it, which was (October 7), the day of the declaration of war, the genocide of Gaza City, and the forced displacement of all its residents. I lost my beloved brother in genocide and the loss is irreparable. I now want to move to a safe place with my family to leave these uninhabitable conditions in Rafah. I ask for any help in any amount you can share to help us cross the border and start a better life. "This is a very small part of what we experience in wartime."
