I’m reaching out during one of the hardest times my family has ever faced. My dad has always worked tirelessly to support us. For over 7.5 years, he drove for work with a perfect 5-star rating, working day and night. But recently, he was wrongfully deactivated from his platform after a false complaint. Despite his spotless record, he wasn’t given a chance to appeal — and just like that, he lost his only source of income.

Since then, everything has fallen apart. We’ve been unable to pay rent for the past few months and are at risk of losing our home. Our two cars are also out of commission — we can’t pay the toll charges or afford insurance, which has left us without transportation. My dad recently secured a new job with Amazon Flex in Plymouth, but now he has no way to get there.

We’re in an incredibly vulnerable place. This past year, we’ve faced illness, deep personal loss, and financial hardship — and now we’ve hit a point where we truly need help. We’re doing everything we can, but we’re overwhelmed and out of options.

We’re asking for support to:

• Catch up on rent to avoid losing our home

• Get our cars back on the road so my dad can get to work

• Create some breathing room while we get back on our feet
