We love Saint Paul. We love it's poetry on random sidewalks, the way every lawn is wildly different from the next, and how most things are just a bit tarnished. We love it's hodgepodge of difference and diversity, in the land and in it's people, people from all over the world, just living and creating home alongside one another.

ICE is terrorizing us, our children, our schools, our neighbors. We have felt afraid and angry and sad, but we have found comfort and hope in taking care of each other. We cannot do that alone though. And we know that there are people everywhere wanting to help, weeping at the terrible stories, the cruelty, frustrated at the actions done by federal agencies, and wishing to do something.

This fund is for rent relief for families in Saint Paul North End living in fear. Everything thing raised will go directly to people's housing. This is one small thing that you can do to help keep someone safe just a little bit longer.

LM oversees the withdrawal of the donated GoFundMe funds to be used to pay landlords, rental agencies, and utilities. They are a neighbor of the beneficiaries receiving the funds, which are distributed between one and three weeks depending on need and timing of bills.
