Hi friends, my name is Jada Reid, I attend Wesleyan University, and I'm asking for support on behalf of my best friend, Sahara Sidi. Sahara is one of the most intelligent, kindest, warmest people I know, and after getting to know and love her for three plus years, I think it is imperative that we support her during this time of need. After trying to brainstorm ways to pay for her remaining tuition balance (for last semester and this semester), as well as upcoming bills and ways to support her family as they go through a tough time (that was only exacerbated after covid), I convinced her to let me start a gofundme.

After four years of financial aid treating Sahara disrespectfully, even telling her that her situation was "sucky," and that she must "work for her ability to attend school," I think Sahara deserves a last semester where she is free from financial burden and can really focus on her classes and thesis and her mental health!!!!!!!!
