Before Sagrado ever opened its doors, we were vandalized. It was one of our first real tests, and we pushed through, fixed what needed to be fixed, and opened anyway.

This weekend, it happened again.

We couldn’t upload all the photos but several of our windows were broken, leaving us with damage that is unfortunately very costly to repair. Like many small businesses, we operate on a tight budget. We have five employees who depend on us, along with all the expenses that come with keeping a business running.

This week we wanted to announce that we finally added indoor seating. A lot of people offered to donate tables or contribute financially, and while we were incredibly grateful, we wanted to create that space through our own hard work and savings. We were proud to finally make it happen.

The truth is, after making those investments, we’re not in a position to easily absorb an unexpected expense like this.

Asking for help is not something that comes naturally to us, but we’re leaning on our community today. If you’ve ever enjoyed a coffee with us, attended an event, brought a friend by, or simply cheered us on from afar, any support means more than you know.
