Support Sage's Peace Corps Service in Jamaica

In January 2026 I was officially invited to serve with the United States Peace Corps! This has been my lifelong dream since high school, and for it to finally come true feels incredible. In September 2026 I will be joining the Peace Corps to serve efforts in Jamaica for 27 months - volunteering my time, knowledge, and technical skills to empower rural Jamaican farmers and their families.

Completely unlike other government agencies such as the military, the Peace Corps is volunteer based service - during this time I will be completely without an income (yes over 2 years without an income!) As a recent college graduate this is quite stressful, as I currently have a $6000.00 student loan to pay off. I am creating this fundraiser so that I can serve without the financial burdens college has created for me. With your support I can pay off my loan, purchase necessary gear and clothing for Jamaica (I need work boots really bad), and maintain valuable relationships back in my home country.

As a Peace Corps volunteer I will guide farmers throughout rural Jamaica:
  • Grow food more sustainably
  • Build stronger water infrastructure
  • Conserve soil and wildlife habitat
  • Strengthen business opportunities to develop a robust local economy for Jamaican families

For the past 10 years I have worked extremely hard to make this Peace Corps dream a reality - pursuing a Bachelor's degree, working multiple jobs as a full time student, while tirelessly serving community efforts in California. Your support would mean the world to me!

By donating today, you can help me help others - together we can grow sustainable food, save wildlife and endangered habitats, and create powerful family businesses that contribute to local economies. Your donation would go directly to:

  • Paying off my $6000.00 student loan
  • Work boots
  • Sunglasses
  • Rain gear
  • Light weight, durable work pants
  • Cell phone service
  • Emergency funds (Flights, transportation, hurricane relief)

Much love and bless up from Jamaica soon!!
