Support Sage's Miracle Recovery

Hi friends, I am helping to ease the heartache and financial burden of some dear friends of mine who just SAVED their sweet pups life after a devastating misdiagnosis of their sweet pup, Sage.

The Elmquist family are near and dear to our hearts. I first met them in 2016. Both Sammie and Hailey served as helpers on a wonderful horse facility in Loveland for my summer camp program. Since then, I have had the honor of watching them grow up.

Sweet Sage is Hailey's first puppy, her very own baby. Sage is the sweetest girl, she plays hard and loves harder!

Last week, Sage wasn't acting like herself, so as any good dog owner does, the family took her in, only to be given a dangerous misdiagnosis. The vet told them her back must be hurting, to give her rest, pain management and wait and see .... Well they missed that her gallbladder had ruptured and sage was in great danger, her abdomen filling with toxic fluid. Thank GOD they randomly put her on antibiotics....? Why? No one knows, but that may be the only thing that saved her.

Sage took a turn for the worse without the proper care from the first veterinarian. She became septic and was rushed to the nearest emergency veterinary hospital for immediate surgery, they weren't even sure she would be able to make it, but now they are calling her the miracle pup!!!!

The cost of saving her life was no small price.... After 2 veterinary visits with X-rays, meds, and ultrasounds the family didn't hesitate to save her even with the news that the emergency surgery was going to cost a minimum of $10,000.

Please pray, ask God why He would have you give, and be obedient to His leading.

I'm so grateful for the veterinarian's who saw what was happening and took immediate action, and I'm so grateful for friends who love their animals.
