Support Sage O'Reggio's Return to West Africa!

Hello! My name is Sage O'Reggio and I am a Senior at Oberlin College and Conservatory. I am starting this GofundMe to raise money for me to return to West Africa this Winter with my mentors Talise Campbell and Weedie Braimah. Last Winter I had the life-changing opportunity to travel with Djapo Cultural Arts to the Gambia and Senegal for their annual voyage. This trip taught me so much about myself not only as a dancer but as a person. I would like to return this Winter to continue my folkloric studies, however I am not currently in a place where I can afford the various expenses required to make this trip happen.

I hope to be able to raise enough money to help cover the entire cost of the trip as well as flight tickets to and from JFK to Bamako, Mali.
