As a healing practitioner who believes that all bodies are good bodies and deserve safe spaces to move without micro-aggressions, feeling invisible, and needing additional energy to fight off internalizing harmful food talk and/or perfectionistic ideals, I am concerned that due to the impact of COVID19 on small businesses we may lose such a valuable and unique space for that within our community.
Fierce Love Yoga (FLY) offers an authentic, playful, welcoming and community oriented space where all bodies can come and find movement through yoga, relaxation through meditation and sound baths, and magic through exploring other ways of healing and connecting to one's inner world.
Monika Kali Thompson, owner of Fierce Love Yoga, pours her heart soul and integrity into making this healing space a welcoming space for all bodies to come and find what they need, where they are at, in each moment. She gently pushes people to their physical edges and encourages people to find their own voice, grounding, and healing. I've never met someone like her, and she needs our help to keep her powerful magic going.
All people deserve to move their unique bodies in relative safety and with trauma informed support. I've never experienced a studio that truly walks that walk and also brings so much more to your experience.
