My name is Sam, but you probably know me as Molly Moo Cow’s mom! Do you love the Cow? Do you love puppies? Do you want mama dogs and their puppies to have a safe place to stay? Read on!

I am an avid foster mom for all types of dogs, but have recently started fostering full litters of puppies, and will soon need to keep mamas and babies! However, my garage was homemade a very long time ago and is in no way insulated. So for the months December-April, I cannot take any mamas and babies in. Newborn puppies cannot regulate their body temperature. The cold is lethal to them. Mama dogs also deserve to have a safe, warm space to give birth, nurse, and wean their puppies.

I want to efficiently and safely insulate the garage and install some sort of heating device to ensure the mama and babies have a safe winter together without fear of freezing.

Our shelters are full. Many pregnant mama dogs are left out to survive the elements and in turn, their puppies may not make it.

We are having estimates done this week. If we happen to need less, I will use any excess on heating supplies and anything mamas and puppies need. (These items may be: food, formula, blankets, pads, toys, anything they need to be safe and comfortable).
