Drowning is the leading cause of death for children ages 1 to 4 — but it doesn’t have to be.

At Safe Shores Georgia, Inc., we believe that every child deserves access to swim lessons and water safety education, no matter their family’s income. Our nonprofit, established in March 2025, exists to make water safety equitable and accessible in Georgia — through education, outreach, and free or low-cost swim instruction.

This GoFundMe supports our first major fundraiser — the Enchanted Seas Fundraiser, a magical evening for children ages 2–12 to dress up, dance, and celebrate the joy of swimming. But this night is about more than sparkle and music — it’s about saving lives.

Your donation will:

Sponsor families who can’t afford to attend the event

Fund water safety campaigns across Georgia

Provide scholarships for swim lessons to children in underserved communities

We don’t want cost to keep any child from this experience — or from the chance to learn water safety.
