Help Keep Socks, Fluffy, Smiley & Chulita Safe While They Heal
Recently, I met four dogs — Socks, Fluffy, Smiley, and Chulita — who are deeply loved by a kind man currently experiencing homelessness. These dogs are his family. They are his comfort, his joy, and his daily purpose. He cares for them with everything he has, but unexpected circumstances have left him with more than he can manage alone.
Because the dogs were not yet spayed or neutered, two unplanned litters of puppies were born. With rainy weather and cold nights arriving, it became clear that the dogs needed a safe, clean environment to heal and recover after being spayed and neutered — especially to prevent infection and to protect the puppies who depend on them.
We have secured a reputable boarding facility that will care for all four dogs for 10 days while they undergo and recover from their spay/neuter surgeries. This ensures they will be:
• Safe from the elements
• Clean and dry during healing
• Protected from infection
• Given proper rest, nutrition, and monitoring
This support allows their guardian to stay connected to them, while also giving him the breathing room and stability needed to continue working toward permanent housing.
What We Are Raising Funds For
Your donation will go directly toward:
• Spay & Neuter surgeries ($600)
• Vaccines & Meds ($200)
• 10 days of boarding and recovery care ($1000)
• Food and basic supplies during their stay ($200)
This is not about “rescuing” the dogs from their person.
This is about supporting a family who loves each other, and providing the medical care and safe recovery environment that every dog deserves — no matter where they sleep at night.
If you’re able, please donate.
If you can’t donate, sharing this campaign truly helps.
Every dollar helps keep this family together and healthy. Thank you for seeing them. Thank you for caring.
With Gratitude,
Kelly
