Help restore Rugg Brook to a healthy waterway

Foggy Brook Farm would like to clean up the banks of Rugg Brook and need your financial help. Rugg Brook flows through our farm and its health and protection is a priority for our farm. Last year we worked with Franklin County Natural Resources Conservation District(FCNRCD) to plant over 200 shrubs and trees along the brook's edges to create a natural buffer to protect the waterway from farm run off. A portion of the brook, which is just past our property line, has been used as a trash dump site for many years. The property has new owners and they have graciously given us permission to clean up the brooks banks. Some of the trash is very old and could be dangerous so professional, hired help is needed. We can not take on this task without the help of our family, friends and community. If we exceed our goal, we will make a donation to FCNRCD to help with their efforts to clean Franklin County's waterways.
