Help Repair Enukweni's Vital Water Pump
Donation protected
Water is scarce in Enukweni, Malawi.
During my Peace Corps service, I worked closely with the local clinic in this resilient community. Today, that same clinic—and its maternity ward—is facing a crisis. The water pump that once provided clean, reliable water has broken, leaving healthcare workers, expectant mothers, and newborns without access to one of the most basic human needs.
This isn’t just an inconvenience—it’s a serious health risk. Without clean water, infection control becomes nearly impossible, and the safety of childbirth is dangerously compromised.
We’re raising $3,000 to repair the broken pump and restore water access to the clinic. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a real and immediate difference.
Please consider donating and sharing. Let’s support Enukweni and help bring clean water back to where it’s needed most.
It is also hunger ‘njala’ season in Malawi and many do not have enough food to feed their families. Any additional contributions will be used to buy food (nsima, etc) to the community.
