Hi, my name is Katie Suellentrop, a family friend of the Spencer’s. I’ve created this Go Fund Me in support of Scott and Kassandra. Just days ago, Sadira was a happy, active kid, but suddenly came down with a high fever and excruciating knee pain. Kassandra rushed her to the emergency room where she was eventually diagnosed with MSSA bacteremia (a dangerous bloodstream infection) and osteomyelitis in her hip. She has been hospitalized at CHOC and is scheduled for surgery on Tuesday August 12, to remove the infection and prevent further complications.

Sadira’s parents have been by her side every moment, missing work to support her through tests, treatments, and long hospital days. We’re hoping to raise funds to help cover their household bills during this time.
