Sip, Support & Save Sadie
Sadie recently underwent emergency surgery to remove her gallbladder after a sudden and serious issue with how her body processes bile. In simple terms, the system that moves bile from her liver wasn’t working properly, causing it to thicken and create a dangerous blockage. While this condition can show up in her breed, it’s uncommon at her age and progressed quickly, requiring immediate surgery.
The surgery was successful, but Sadie now faces a long road to recovery, including ongoing care, monitoring, and significant veterinary expenses.
Sadie is more than just a pet - she’s family. She belongs to the mom of Pilot Brewing’s owner, Rachael Hudson. If you know Rachael or Pilot, you know how often she shows up for others, through community events, fundraisers, and everyday acts of care that don’t always get seen. This time, her family could use a little of that support in return.
To help offset the growing costs of Sadie’s care, we’re hosting a fundraiser at Pilot Brewing on May 9th from 1–4pm, with all proceeds going directly to this fund. Event Details Here
If you’re local, we’d love to see you there. If not, you can still be part of Sadie’s recovery by donating here. Every contribution, big or small, goes directly toward her care and healing.
Thank you for showing up, for caring, and for helping us support a very good girl through her recovery.
