Two weeks ago, our sweet 3-year-old Poochon, Sadie, suddenly became very ill. What started with a trip to our local emergency vet quickly turned into a rush to a veterinary hospital in Urbana, Illinois, where Sadie has undergone countless tests and seen multiple specialists.

The medical bills have quickly added up, and unfortunately, Sadie is considered a rare and complicated case. While she is stable for now, we still have a long road ahead as the doctors work to figure out exactly what is wrong and how they can help her.

Anyone who has ever loved a fur baby knows they aren’t “just a dog”, they are family. ❤️ We would do absolutely anything for our fur babies, and that is exactly what we want to do for Sadie. We want to give her every possible chance to come home healthy and happy, but as the days go by, the veterinary bills continue to pile up.
