Sadie Anderson has always been a devoted daughter and a close friend to many, including me. Recently, her world was turned upside down when her father, a Navy photographer, lost his battle with cancer. Sadie and her family are now facing the heartbreaking reality of saying goodbye, while also dealing with unexpected financial challenges.
Despite her father's years of service, the family was shocked to learn that neither veterans benefits nor life insurance will cover the necessary funeral expenses fully. On top of that, immediate family members need to travel to Minnesota to be together and support one another during this difficult time.
