For those of you who know us, you know how important Sadie May is to us. She’s been my best buddy for 8 years, and has now become near and dear to Ben as well. The week before our wedding, Sadie got into some pain medication that was hidden in an upper cabinet. From that ingestion of carprofen, we had to take her to the emergency vet where they induced vomiting and held her for 24 hours to monitor and ensure everything was out of her system. We took her home that next day, but she couldn’t stop vomiting. Due to this, she aspirated herself and gave herself pneumonia. We were then sent down to Denver to seek advanced care for her, where she stayed for 2 full days.

We are ecstatic to say that she has made a full recovery, but as I’m sure you can imagine, the vet bills are astronomical. We are seeking help in paying these, as we start our life together as a married couple who simply cannot afford these bills on our own… we and Sadie would be forever grateful
