At just 22 years old, Sadia Sadiq, a new mother who married only a year ago, is facing a life-threatening medical crisis that puts both her life and her newborn son’s future at risk what should have been one of the happiest moments of her life has instead turned into a fight for survival.
Shortly after giving birth to a baby boy about 40 days ago, Sadia’s family learned that both of her kidneys had failed. Since then, she has required ongoing dialysis just to survive. Doctors have told the family that a kidney transplant is the only long-term solution.
Sadia’s father, a close and dear family friend of ours in Pakistan, has immediately stepped forward and offered to donate one of his own kidneys to save his daughter’s life. However, before the transplant can happen, extensive medical testing is required for both the donor and the patient. These tests will take nearly two months and come with costs that this family simply cannot afford.
This family comes from a poor background and cannot afford the medical bills and dialysis treatments. Sadia is fighting to survive for her newborn son, and every donation will go directly to support her testing, treatment, and transplant, giving her a chance to be there for her child.
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page. Your kindness, generosity, and support mean more than words can express.
Thank you for standing with Sadia and her family during this incredibly difficult time.
