I am Sadhana Ganesan from Connecticut and 15 years old. I am a speed skater and started skating when I was 4 years old. Speed skating is my passion and am determined to this sport. Last 10 years, I have won 23 times nationals individual medals and won 6 times overall national champion title in US. I have been skating weekly 4 to 5 times last ten years dreaming to be part of world team in my very first year.
Last week, I have tried JR World Team trail first time in Florida and earned a spot in the WORLD TEAM USA in my very first year. I am so proud to represent the country in World Skate Games, Italy this September 2024. It's an incredible opportunity, and I'm ready to give it my all to make our country to proud. Also I am proud to say I am the first Indian American in the history to represent USA in the Roller Sports World Skate Games.
But getting to the World Skate Games requires more than just hard work and talent—it also requires financial support. That's why I'm reaching out to you, my community, for help. The costs of travel, skating equipments, training, and other expenses associated with competing at the world level can add up quickly. With your support, I can focus on my training and preparation without worrying about the financial burden.
Every contribution, no matter how small, brings me one step closer to achieving my dream of representing the United States at the world games. Your support means the world to me, and I'm incredibly grateful for any help you can provide on this journey.
Thank you for believing in me and supporting my world skate games dream!
