Support Sabrina's Second Kidney Transplant
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
My name is Sabrina, and I’m reaching out for support as I get closer to a life-changing moment: receiving a second kidney transplant.
I’ve been living with kidney disease for most of my life. I received my first kidney transplant at just 9 years old. That gift gave me nearly a decade of normal life—but sadly, the kidney failed, and by 2021, at age 19, I was back in kidney failure an placed on emergency dialysis.
The first few months were incredibly rough—hemodialysis left me weak, constantly sick, and unable to do even the simplest things. I later switched to peritoneal dialysis, which gave me back some strength and a sense of normalcy.
Now, after four years, I’ve finally been approved for a kidney transplant. I don’t know when it’ll happen—it could be any day—but I do know that recovery will be long and I won’t be able to work for months, maybe up to a year.
That’s why I’m asking for help. I’ll need to cover post-transplant medications that insurance won’t fully pay for, along with everyday bills and living costs while I recover.
Here’s a breakdown of what your support will help with each month :
•Prograf (immunosuppressant): $517.35
•Cellcept (immunosuppressant): $2,590.92
•Myfortic (immunosuppressant): $977.27
•Rapamune (immunosuppressant): $1,237.55
•Valcyte (antiviral): $2,831.99
•Other maintenance medications (blood pressure, vitamins, etc.): $50–$200
Estimated total out-of-pocket (20% after Medicare): approx. $985/month
In addition to medication, your donations will help cover :
•Rent and utilities
•Transportation to appointments
•Daily living expenses during recovery
If you can donate, pray and share this page, it would mean everything to me. Every bit of support gets me one step closer to healing and rebuilding my life.
Thank you so much,
Sabrina
