Hi everyone! It’s been a really rough time I thought I could work more but recently got diagnosed with breast cancer and will need chemo before the surgery. The cancer is mammory carcinoma stage 2B metastatic to lymph nodes. (will update when I get my paperwork because I’m going off my scribble from the phone call) We found another lump during the biopsy so we are going to act on it as fast as we can. It’ll be a rough journey I was focusing on my mom and ended up getting it at the same time. I wouldn’t have even checked if it weren’t for my mom’s cancer diagnosis.

In my mind I would be able to work but with all these steps with appointments of doctors, surgeons, and treatments I will have to stop working and get treated. I’m still in a weird floaty stage with paying for medical costs (trying to get all the help but steps are involved in them) so for now I just made a random number and whoever feels like helping feel free to do so. All is appreciated even the messages and shares. Part of me wanted to hide this but it’s all of our fight! I want to share this journey so others who are “too young” (33) can get checked and advocate for yourself! What we thought was a cyst and tattoo ink in lymph nodes was in fact cancer. My heart hurts and watching my mom and grandma go through it wrecked me.

Now it’s my turn. I’m scared but hopeful. I plan to still create and make art until the end.
