On New Year’s Eve, Sabbath was diagnosed with a heart disease called Dilated cardiomyopathy where his heart muscles are weak and he has leaks through several of his heart valves. He underwent emergency surgery after his heart became too enlarged where he developed heart failure and fluids were taken from his lungs. Nothing can reverse this and we hope that with time and multiple daily heart medications, he can live out his life as best as possible as we pray this will prevent the disease to progress. He’ll need medication for the remainder of life, check ups, vet visits, and more.

There’s no true way of knowing how much time Sabbath has left. What we do know is that he played a part in not only our life but the lives of so many in the span of ten years. We know times are tough right now and not all can help financially. We appreciate everyone who has reached out sharing their love and support for Sabbath and the continued efforts in doing so.
