The Boston University Immigrants’ Rights Clinic is representing “S,” a single mother from Honduras who has been granted asylum in the United States.
S is a survivor of a lifetime of abuse and violence. She is now focused on rebuilding her life and creating a safe, stable future for herself and her young daughter.
As she begins this new chapter, S is actively seeking employment. However, she faces significant financial barriers that make it difficult to secure stable work and housing. One immediate and essential need is access to a functioning cellphone and reliable service, which are critical for applying to jobs, communicating with employers, and accessing opportunities.
Your support will help cover the basic but essential expenses S needs to regain stability, including obtaining a cellphone and maintaining service so she can pursue employment.
Every contribution, no matter the amount, will help S take meaningful steps toward independence and a brighter future for her and her daughter. Thank you for your generosity and for supporting S on her journey to stability and safety.
Please contact Gaby and Danna if you have any questions. We appreciate your support!
