On February 19, 2025, our beloved Rylie Gutelius was diagnosed with Stage 2B Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. This is a devastating and life-changing diagnosis as she is no longer able to attend school or work. However, we know Rylie is a fighter, and with the love and support of all of us, she will face this with the strength and courage we all know her for.
The next few months will be critical as she embarks on the most important journey of her life—one that will require not just her strength, but the strength of her entire support system.
In addition to the treatments for her cancer, Rylie is also facing the difficult decision to undergo fertility treatments before she can begin chemotherapy. The chemotherapy she needs to fight the lymphoma poses a risk to her fertility, and therefore, it’s vital for her to preserve the option of having children in the future. Moreover, these treatments come with significant costs that are not always covered by insurance.
As Rylie focuses on her health and preparing for chemotherapy, it’s also critical for Rylie to be able to undergo these fertility treatments before starting chemotherapy.
And That’s Where We Can Help:
We are creating this GoFundMe to rally around Rylie during this challenging time. While Rylie and her family focus on her health and healing, we want to alleviate some of the financial burden that comes with fertility treatments, including the egg retrieval process, medical procedures, medications, and other unforeseen costs. These resources will ensure that this family can concentrate on what matters most—fighting and getting well.
Why Rylie Deserves Our Support:
Rylie has always been a source of light and love in the lives of everyone who knows her. Her kindness, her positivity, and her unwavering spirit have impacted so many of us. Now, it’s our turn to be there for her, showing up in the way she’s always shown up for us.
If you’re unable to donate, simply sharing this campaign with your network or sending words of encouragement will mean the world to Rylie.
Let’s give her the love and strength she needs to overcome this obstacle and come out even stronger on the other side.
Thank you,
Madeline Jee
