My name is CJ. I’m a stay-at-home mom to three beautiful children, and we are expecting our fourth baby very soon. My husband, Rylie, works two jobs to provide for our family. He is a devoted husband, an incredible father, and the steady foundation our home is built on.

Recently, our world stopped when we were told Rylie has osteosarcoma—bone cancer. Hearing those words was something we never imagined would be part of our story. In a matter of moments, our focus shifted from preparing for a new baby and raising our kids to facing surgery, treatments, and an uncertain future.

Rylie is now preparing for surgery in hopes of removing the cancer and giving him the chance to heal. While we are holding onto hope, the reality is overwhelming. With Rylie being our sole provider, this diagnosis affects every part of our lives—time away from work, mounting medical bills, travel for appointments, and the day-to-day expenses that don’t stop, even when life feels like it’s falling apart.

As a mother, it’s heartbreaking to try to stay strong for our children while facing the fear of what tomorrow may bring. All we want is for Rylie to get through this, to recover, and to continue being the father our children run to and the husband who means everything to me.
