I’m reaching out with a heartfelt request for support for my dear friend Danielle and her daughter, Rylee. At just 13 years old, Rylee has been facing an incredibly challenging health battle. She was diagnosed with Echinococcus, a rare and serious condition that required her to be airlifted to UC Davis in Sacramento last October. She spent six days in the hospital, and she now faces an upcoming surgery in April, followed by another six-day hospital stay.

Danielle is a single mom of two, doing everything she can to provide for her family while navigating this incredibly difficult journey. On top of the emotional stress of caring for a sick child, she’s facing overwhelming medical bills, travel costs, and time away from work. So far, expenses have already reached $15,000, and they continue to rise as Rylee’s treatment continues. No parent should have to face these financial burdens alone while trying to focus on their child’s healing.
