For Ryland Layson

Ryland Layson is David and Jaque’s 19-year-old nephew, born and raised in Las Vegas, and he is now facing the fight of his life. Ryland is passionate, smart, and deeply caring. Even while enduring unimaginable pain, he still finds the heart to chant, “Go Knights Go.” No young person should have to carry what Ryland is carrying, but he is bravely battling stage 4 Burkitt’s Lymphoma cancer. Right now, Ryland is in Santa Monica to receive specialized treatment from doctors with the expertise he needs. This has been incredibly hard on the whole family, especially his parents, as they stand beside him through every painful and uncertain moment.

As Ryland continues this battle, the family is facing overwhelming medical expenses, travel costs, hotel stays, and everyday livelihood expenses that come with being away from home for treatment. Any support will be a true blessing, helping ease the financial stress, cover treatment-related needs, and make travel possible without constant worry so the focus can stay on Ryland’s recovery.
