Update: Thank You + Support for the Boys
Thank you to everyone who donated, shared, or reached out after Amber’s passing. The support you gave us meant a lot during an incredibly hard time.
The $1,500 raised on this campaign was used to help the boys directly. It covered outstanding bills, travel expenses related to handling everything after Amber’s death, school clothes and supplies, and a few small things the boys wanted. After losing their mom the way they did, those things helped bring a little normalcy.
I want to make one thing clear so there’s no confusion: this gofundme is for our children. There is a separate GoFundMe created by Amber’s family that is specifically for funeral and headstone expenses. That one is not for the boys. Any money raised here goes toward their needs.
I’m still raising 4 boys (ages 7–13) without their mother. School, sports, food, bills, and everyday life continue to add up, and I’m finally back to working to keep things as stable as possible for them. On top of the practical needs, the boys have been hoping to get a dirtbike they can all share and ride together. Something like that would give them a fun outlet and some time outside as a group while they’re still processing everything. So far they have a total of just over $800 to put toward that goal from previous donations that were made for them to spend how they want. The other $700 was used during the past 2 months to cover bills, expenses related to required appointments after the tragedy, and for feeding the kids during our time of learning to maintain our daily lifeb without their mom.
Any additional support will go toward the boys—first and foremost for school clothes, and then a dirtbike they’re hoping for so they have something positive to look forward to together.
Thank you again for the kindness you’ve already shown. If you’re able to share this or contribute again, it truly helps. I’ll keep updating as I’m able.
With gratitude,
Jeremy and the boys
