For fifteen years, Buddha has been a loyal and loving companion for our friend, Ryder. After many years of battling, Buddha has reached the final/end stage of pancreatitis and is currently in hospice at home.

Ryder and their partner, Rowan, are working round the clock to ensure that Buddha Boy is constantly supervised, safe, comfortable, and cared for. The goal is to help Buddha pass over this weekend, before his condition progresses any further. Understandably, this has been quite hard on Ryder as they navigate the emotional and financial labor of helping Buddha through his final moments.

This is a community call to help raise funds to give Buddha a soft, gentle, and compassionate exit from this world. This fundraiser is also intended to help Ryder stay afloat while they grieve, mourn, and additionally recover from an untimely surgery which will take place this coming Monday.

Anything that you're able to contribute at this time, no matter how big or small, is greatly appreciated. The strange thing about loss is how life inevitably goes on around us. It forces us to move forward though we might feel unsure of how to do so. Thankfully we have the incredible, loving community that we do, and while asking for help doesn't always come easily, we are grateful to be able to turn to our friends and family for support in times like this.
